The MC-347, 3" x 4" Centrifugal pump
(750 GPM) features several innovations:

The MC-347 is a 3" x 4" centrifugal pump with an SAE 5 housing for direct coupling to engine drive systems.

No coupling or alignment problems

The pump is direct coupled

H.P. requirements to run the MC-347 @ 750 GPM is 24 H.P.

Pump has NO TREADED ENDS! Grooved couplings only, making installation & maintenance simple by using a 12" crescent wrench

MC-348 CCW PEDESTAL WATER PUMP
The MC-348, Centrifugal pump (750 GPM)features several innovations:

The MC-348 is a 3" x 4" centrifugal pump with a shaft to adapt for direct drive line or hydraulic application

Direct driving from PTO or HYD drive with a coupling adapter

The pump is mounted by a simpler base mount

Fiber shaft packing or mechanical seal

Pump has NO THREADED ENDS! Grooved couplings only, making installation & maintenance simple by using a 1/2" crescent wrench

Inside Story on McLellan Hydraulic Pumps

Extensive field testing for years, in every kind of weather and terrain.

When McLellan engineers became aware of the high failure rate in air operated pumps, they went
to work to find a dependable and cost effective solution. The answer to the oil pump is a hydraulic gear driven gear pump, encased in a heavy duty housing affording the maximum in dependability.

A complete new design of the grease pump has 50% less parts! A reciprocating hydraulic motor assures complete availability of grease in adverse conditions.

POWER - 8:1 PRESSURE
A multiplier of 8 to 1 times pressure equals grease gun pressure. Hydraulic pump produces a minimum 5-8 GPM @ 1000 PSI.

ALL WEATHER DESIGN
System limits are not effected by temperature when using the McLELLAN drum and container heating system.

ALL SEASON GREASE WINTERIZATION
Water tight containment. Optional heating source of transmission oil, radiator water or hydraulic system oil used through the heating coils. This HEATS THE GREASE FROM WITHIN the barrel NOT OUTSIDE THE BARREL. You'll never have the aggravating problem of cavitation of grease reaching the pump stem in cold weather.

SAFETY
Built into the system is an 8000 PSI pressure relief valve. All hoses are rated at 10,000 PSI from pump to grease gun.

DURABILITY
There are 50% fewer moving parts. Fail safe design so system will not SELF DESTRUCT.

ADAPTABILITY
For use on hydraulic systems other than 1000 PSI working pressure - consult the factory. The Grease Pump will interface with most makes of drum covers.
